AMD is set to release AGESA 1072a BIOS updates for AM4 motherboards this Friday

Gigabyte says that AGESA 1072a is a lot more stable than AGESA 1071.

I wonder if they know that 1072a breaks overclocking yet. According to Asus, CPU ratio OCing is broken in 1072a.

I was so close to upgrading to ryzen this black friday, but I read about too many issues and the need to upgrade bios so much put me off among others.

The people complaining are a lot louder than the people with no problems, And the people with no problems are 99% of the user base.

. for the most part the ryzen system is perfectly stable. the most common problems are being experienced by those chasing that last gram of performance.
