PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS has surpassed 1 million concurrent players

I know tons of people playing this thing, and bugging me to get into it. It doesn't really interest me, but you can't argue with the sales figures and player count. It's quite the gargantuan success, and it's still alpha.

I don't play FPS or really any shooting multiplayer game on PC. So i don't know anyone playing because of that. I play R6S on console as the only FPS game I play. Other than that no interest.

But yeah it's quite a feat. Is it deserved? I don't think so. Looks kinda boring to me honestly. Everyone likes it though so something about it is being done right.

That was my feeling too. I know it doesn't *look* great, but there must be a hook, and it appears to be a good hook. Still not interested either though, I burned out on multi player FPS years ago in the UT days. With the exception of playing Day of Defeat with a great bunch of guys, most online experiences were awful, with all the hacking crap, stupid kids, etc, so I gave it up.

Yeah although recently PUBG's steam rating has tanked quite a bit because of the so called "stream snipe" issues that people claim to have.

16 out of my 40 steam friends have it. And a lot of my steam friends i CS only players, take them out it's more than half.

And the hook is the frustration of wanting to do better. OMG the times you die, just because you focus on looting, and the get caught outside the circle. Or focus on a fire fight and the get caught outside the circle.
