Seriously? Like it isn't bad enough that GPU prices are inflated and availability is non-existent but AMD are actually supporting these arseholes? I've been a long time supporter of AMD but every news piece I've seen over the last few days has been heart-wrenchingly disappointing. Maybe I will be pairing an Nvidia card with a Ryzen CPU after all.

Not a big deal honestly. AMD needs the money. Smart for them to sell to people who are actually buying instead of trying to win over 1 out of 4 gamers.
The supply issue is also in part of the AIB partners to scared to order more stock than normal because they don't want to have a surplus like last time and get screwed over again
