AMD's Threadripper 1920 CPU has been revealed by motherboard manufacturers

It will have lower core clock speeds and a lower TDP.

So this is the 12 core to have then, basically

AMD should learn to price them closer together really.

The price has not been announced yet, just an estimate. But if you overclock this CPU may be the one to buy if you want 12 cores.

Yeah for sure man. I still want to see that £600 16 core that clocked at 2.4ghz or something.

i do freelance work in 3D and for years i dreamed about equipping my systems with 8+ core cpus.

i have a mainsystem + 5 systems as a renderfarm.

with AMD Threadripper it is now possible for me to get 12 cores into these systems without selling a liver.

saving 50$ on a CPU adds up to 250$.... that´s not bad.
