Agreed. I haven't played a NFS since SHIFT but this one looks really interesting. If the physics aren't completely arcadey (I'd like them semi-realistic) then it could be a really fun game to rival Forza Horizon.
Noooooooooo. Stay away from that pile of filth. The previous NFS from 2015 is...okay? but unless you are picking it up for less than $15 bucks it isn't remotely worth the money.
The driving is meh, customization is honestly lackluster, and the story is....well...read on. It's like you get shoved into a race world filled with 16 year old teen ricers who think slapping stickers on the car makes it faster and a big spoiler helps give them boost. That is surpisingly exactly how the story portrays it too. Some of the story is fun but most of it is not...also if you are expecting cops to actually be a challenge like some of the older need for speeds you are in for a VERY bad disappointing time. The cops are easy to lose even if you staying below 90mph in a tuner because you can, you rip two corners and your free. They just drive so slow. Also everything is night time...like you don't have any interaction with racing at all during the day....makes it so fing boring sometimes.
Sorry I owned the game, hell pre-ordered it, and it just turned out to be utter trash for me. I'd never play the game again since I beat it even if new content is added.
This is all my opinion, take it how you will of course, I just wouldn't recommend the game to anyone. Now Forza Horizon 3? yes absolutely.
I will be watching some streams on release day to see what it's like, although I do have quite alot of the newer games none of them grip me like the last good one in my opinion, which was the original Most Wanted.
