Intel are rumoured to be releasing Z370 motherboards later this year

In reply to the full article; integrated Wi-Fi and USB 3.1 will not be part of the Z370 launch, but rather the H1: 2018 Z390 boards, with those two features apparently being the only difference between the boards.

I'm still skeptical about Intel moving CFL forward (August) and then suddenly it's Oct-Dec (for the boards at least). With Intel saying at Computex they'd be introducing CFL come August I am curious what they mean by 'introducing'. It depends on whether it's a hard or paper launch, however with the latter I cannot fathom confirming a chip in August and then saying it won't be available in the next quarter. Still hoping for August for both the CPU and boards, after all, it's just 1 post by a guy from 1 vendor.

Z390? What is the purpose of launching two chipsets dedicated to overclockers? Cant they incorporate all their new stuff on one top tier mainstream chipset like they have always done?

It's purpose is like I said; the integration of those two features, which probably couldn't make the brought forward Z370 launch.
