Is it just me, or where do you mount the vertical M.2 on the Micro?... As all I'm seeing is an horisontall M.2 slot under the top PCI Express slot.

Really like the design of all 3. Ok, maybe the fan on the Dark is a little too much for me, but if it does its job well, then why not.

KBL-X users can only use 2 DIMM Slots? Damn, buying CPUs seems to get a little more confusing nowadays. A small step backwards imho. Also the naming of the new Intels... Why is Skylake-X better than Kaby Lake-X, when the original Kaby Lakes came AFTER Skylake... Another point that confuses me and probably some other people, who are just getting into PC components

well good job to EVGA for providing 2x 8pin CPU connectors unlike every other brand who Der8auer is slamming at the moment.

Seems that they know how to treat OCing properly. Perhaps Kingpins involvement here may be apparent.

What an ugly design that heatpipe..between chipset and vrm's

Must have been a last minute adjustment as it's placed over the board text.
Hasn't experience taught us that bends in heatpipes are rather an obstruction than a gain?

I really dig that EVGA are going with such aggressive aesthetics without relying on LED's and colour.

I really like their design. I think one of the best looking board ever was Z97 Classified.
