AMD's Radeon Vega Frontier Edition has received a hands-on preview, which showcases some huge performance gains over Nvidia's Titan Xp in synthetic benchmarks.

Doom. No framerates just "You couldn't tell between the Titan XP and the Frontier". And the best they could do was say "It's pretty damn good !" AGAIN. Like he had been poked in the kidneys to say it.

Are the drivers for the titan xp geared towards gaming or towards professional programs? If they're geared towards gaming then the comparison is stupid for amd to make, like comparing a quadro card to a 1080. If the titan xp's drivers are geared towards professional applications then maybe rx Vega will be on par with the 1080ti. Either way it's kind of an odd match up imho.

Vega FE versus Quadro card makes more sense to me since the Titan Xp is not entirely geared towards compute.
