I hope those "side firing USB3 ports" become standard. It makes life so easier when you route cables.

Amen! The new Crosshair IV Extreme or whatever it's called has a 24 pin PSU plug sideways too. About damn time!!

24-pin is not the problem. I actually like it facing up. You can have nice curve, and show you cables. With USB3 you have that unbendable, huge, ugly connector. I don't kow why it has to be so robust.
