Nintendo does not consider dead pixels on the Switch a defect

Nintendo does not consider dead pixels on the Switch a defect, calling it "normal" and "not to be considered a defect".

A lot of screen manufacturers do the same when it comes to dead pixels, iirc it comes down to ISO standards for different class screens. The standards should reduce the tolerance to 0, or at least 0 tolerance within the first year or something

I love japanese culture and japanese as people with principle, codex and work order, but Nintendo as a firm should be exterminated with fire or atleast Japan RS should kill them

Neither do Acer apparently, unless they obscure 7% of the viewable surface.

I had a few dead pixels on a New 3DS XL i got a year or 2 ago. Sent it back to Nintendo, they replaced the lower screen no prob. So unless they've changed their policy i'm sure they'll still help folks out.
