Silverstone introduce their new FG series of RGB fan mounts/grills

Silverstone has now unveiled their new FG series of RGB fan mounts/grills, which can be used to add RGB lighting to any 120mm or 140mm fan through the use of a 4-pin RGB LED control input.

Honestly here, I can't see the point of these... They are just... Unecessary. Plus they don't even look nice.

If I was much into modding I think I'd cut out the grill section (if possible) and use them solely as a kind of halo around the fan.
However, looking at them on their site they're around 6mm thick which is far too much IMO.

lol.....Welp people pushed for these companies to do RGB LED's now this is the cr*p you have to put up with.

This has to be one of the most stupidest products i have even seen i thought SilverStone had more brains than this.

Silverstone make some really nice products, but this is just one of their many products that go under weird junk that nobody asked for

Very true. I've had two of their cases which included some fans, a fan hub, a few cables, etc and they've been solid products. But this? This is just weird and ugly.
