Nvidia release their own PC hardware recommendations for For Honor

Nvidia has released their own set of PC hardware recommendations for For Honor, recommending a GTX 1060 for 1080p 60FPS gameplay at high settings and GTX 1070/1080 SLI for 4K 60FPS gameplay at the same settings.

Are Nvidia admitting that even their own GTX 1080/Titan XP can't play this game at UHD?

I have access to the open beta, so hopefully I can see how it runs later today.

I have access too and I have 1 more invite to the closed beta but you have to friend me on Uplay Sideshow936 if anyone wants to try the game out its a 20GB download BTW

If its chill I'll add you on uplay when I get home from work and snag a code :P (if you have them left at that time). Really interested in this game but didn't get in to the closed beta :/

It's a closed beta

But really no wonder they choose there best cards. Rip off.
My 480 at 1440p is at 40-60 fps consistently.

The gtx1080 is not powerful enough and the titan x is still not really acknowledged as a gaming card by nvidia.

Played the closed beta Viking tutorial at max settings minus super sampling AA at 3440x1440 and ran Fraps in the background to benchmark it and the average frame rate was 83 so not bad at all with a single 1080.
