Scythe Release Kama Meter Multi Function Panel with Fan Controller

Scythe have released their fan controller/media panel combo - the Kama panel. Not the best looking unit personally, but definitely a space saver. Care to comment? Feel free to do so below...

It seems good, but it would have been better if they had included a display to show fan speeds and used buttons to control fan speed so that they wouldn't need all the little knob things (what are those called).

Yeah agreed, it was the lack of display that turned me off too.

Technically they are a form of potentiometer

Ya I know that they are pots but they aren't really knobs, maybe dials?

Be nice if they had some sort of display, pos a temp monitor and those control things just look like they're volume controls from a old cheap stereo.

The only usefull part on it would be the card reader as most new cases already have front usb+firewire.

I would rather have a 3.5 inch card reader since you would never use both 3.5 inch openings that most cases have.

Yup, that's how I filled my 2 3.5" bays up on my PC-65, one floppy and one card reader.

Still needing a floppy for bios updates I find crazy. Better than doing it from within windows I guess.

Yup, that's all I keep it around for. That and Windows F6 RAID driver installs that only work from floppy.
