AMD's Vega 10 GPU pictured at CES 2017

AMD's Vega Pre-production sample has been showcased at CES 2017, confirming that the GPU uses HBM2 and uses standard air cooling.

That's interesting they have used an air cooler and I thought the PCB would have been the same size of the Fury

It is a pre-production model, so everything does not need to be as compact. The length could change in the future.

Yes it is I am wanting to upgrade my 290X but i'll wait longer now as I have a freesync monitor plus I want to support AMD. On another note I was watching an interview on youtube with Raja Koduri and PCworldvideos which was very interesting

I won't buy Intel or nVidia again simply because of their attitude (or perceived attitude) to their customers.

Cheers Wraith. I am guessing that blue thing on the end on the T shaped piece won't be making it to final production cards? it's awfully long with that on.
