AMD Vega 10 internal slides leak revealing GPU clock speeds

Internal slides for AMD's Vega architecture have leaked, revealing at least 12TFLOPs of compute performance and clock speeds that are over 1500MHz.

Read more on AMD's Vega GPU clock speed calculations.

I wonder what the high clock speeds mean for overclocking. Will Vega be as competent as Polaris or will it be as poopy as Fiji?

Yep I was right again. 16GB is the top gpu. Not the 8GB.
And pretty sure everyone got the clock speed right. Based off that formula and we guessed the core count long ago

Vega 10 could be split between a 8GB cut down version and a 16GB full fat version. Maybe the demo GPU we've been seeing is a cut down version—hence the slightly below expectation performance and 8GB listed VRAM.

Well, looks interesting at least. 16gb of the full fat version would be awsome!

Polaris is not exactly great for overclocking. Vega will be worse due to the obligatory kitchen sink IMO.

Maybe they'll be already near their max rolling out of the factory?

I know? I'm just saying that the top GPU is a 16GB version? You're saying what I am implying

Yup. That is what Async gets you, more heat and lower clocks. Maybe this time next year I will have better things to say about it but I still feel AMD should have laid off the kitchen sink and gone for balls out clock speed like Nvidia did from Kepler onward.
