I do now for most of the time. My CPU is quite good too, managing 4.5ghz bench stable and 4.4 fully stable with 1.29v. However, it's not the CPU I don't trust, it's the boards.

I've had two go on me leaving me with a CPU that only fits boards that have been discontinued and thus eye wateringly expensive. A RIVE for example now costs around £300.

"back in the day" companies would carry on smashing out boards for years after the CPU was not the best any more (775 for example and even AM3) but other stuff like X79? Intel release them so quickly now that they die out just as quickly.

And that's an issue for me when I have spent a king's ransom on DDR4 and so on. So yeah, just keep it stock now.
