Microsoft is joining the Linux Foundation

Microsoft is joining the Linux Foundation as a platinum member, joining the likes of Intel, IBM, Samsung and Qualcomm.

They are moving to open source because staying closed source is causing increasing project costs when they could share some code and save a lot of cash and speed up development time/greater injection into more products. Makes sense
I just hope this is a push towards better gaming on Linux(ie greater game libraries and etc)
