would you not still have to launch steam ect to launch the games, if so then it seems a bit pointless, just more clutter on the HDD

It depends. I have over forty games installed right now. I couldn't have an icon on my desktop for every single one. Right now I use ObjectDock to have all my games in one easy to browse place. Sounds like GameRoom is trying to do a similar thing. I think I'm going to give it a go.

How come these posts never have a link to the subject? Especially new or obscure things like GameRoom, which doesn't even show up when you google it (A piece of Microsoft software for the Xbox 360 from 2010 showed up with the same name)

My point being most games on steam need steam running to actually play, so it would mean you have 2 things running to play 1 game

Launchers like these take such little power it's irrelevant. I've got Rainmeter and ObjectDock running right now to give a pretty UI and quick access to stuff. I have Steam, GOG and Origin running full time. These days processors have more than enough power to handle things like this. Just my opinion though.

Steam already allows you to do this, as does Geforce experience, (and I believe the amd program does as well, i'm undure but so i have heard.) Why do i need a 3rd program to do this for me?
Or better yet, a folder with shortcuts to all your games...
