Professional overclocker Der8auer has managed to delid Intel's new Core i7-6950X Broadwell-E CPU, despite the fact that it uses a soldered interface. Please do not try this at home.

The tool will come to the caseking store, will be black anodized and limited pieces. This is what I had understand in this video of him.

Why replace solder with something else. If you are going to risk delidding it, run it without the IHS to get the most out of it.
