Dam!

I have stayed on Z97 and not gone to Skylake. I hear the X99 platform whispering in my ear. And the form factor being ATX is a big plus for me. I really want one, have to see if the money can be found to migrate my H440 rig to X99

Nice board. The carbon accents are a bit Marmite if I'm honest.

As much as X99 tries to lure me I'm resisting and staying with my Z87 XPower for the moment.

Despite how good that board looks and how well it performs, I couldn't really justify forking out the expense of building a machine that would comfortably outperform my 4790K.

I'd probably spend half my time playing games and the other being in denial that it was worth it.
