IKEA have a VR Experience?

IKEA has just released their own "VR Experience" on Steam, allowing those with the HTC Vive to explore a digital kitchen showroom where you can quickly interact and even change the materials or finish of the units.

Read more on the IKEA VR Expereince.

Is it just me or does it seem like the Vive is the preferred choice for most over the Rift?

It is the only one that supports the "whole room" stuff at launch, so a lot of the game can only work on it.

Looks at sig...... oh no, you can't run IKEA!

Room scale VR with the light houses and the motion controllers. Oculus is a very sit-down experience right now.

Oh right, wasn't aware Oculus didn't support that.

It does, but it has not motion controllers at launch and the head tracking can potentially be problematic.

It doesn't have it right now, but it should in the future.

Everything Oculus right now is sit down and use your Xbox Controller.

Also keep in kind the Vive is much more expensive. So it'll take longer to get those new features

Your talking about how the Vive is better.. it's because it's much more expensive. So it makes sense the Rift isn't as good.
Although I find it hard to believe when FB is finding the Rift.. surely they have more money to invest with
