I've barely messed around with my RPi2, but I'll definitely pick this up when it's readily available on Amazon.

£30 is the asking price according to a couple of sources. Which would make it the same price as previous versions.

I know we can't have everything, but it's a pity the power draw has gone up. These things are great for embedded projects.

I got plans for a few small projects. i want to try and build a plex streamer, then a touch screen info machine (Calendar, weather, to do list) and then finally try and make some sort of arcade cabinet device out of it! Going to load these up on the spare SD cards I have got.

You could go all out and build your own inputs using gpio

Here are some photos of the new Pi 3 and a little aluminium case which was made for the Pi 2!



















Added a little heatsink to the pi, just to help a little with heat.
