Hitachi Explains Perpendicular Recording

I've decided to start the news posts with something a little jovial. If you've ever wondered how perpendicular recording works, Hitachi has made the science lesson a little easier. Here endeth the lesson....Care to comment?

ive seen this before, very good video and it makes me laugh too!

i didnt know how perpendicular worked before that anyway, so was a greta help to me

By far best tech video ever. So if I get this video correctly, basically Hitachi has a large disco dance floor setup in their plants where they get the bits to party hard to some crazy disco in order for this technology to work? Nice!

perhaps if Intel did one abotu CPU's & ATi did one about Directx, pipelines, shaders etc.... id be very happy plus ill be the biggest boffin in my college xD
