Fallout 4's performance on AMD increases drastically with new Drivers

Fallout 4's performance on AMD has increased drastically with with their new Catalyst 15.11.1 drivers. Now being on par with Nvidia at 4K.

I wonder how the cards lower in the tiers are affected by the update. Similar percentage gains?

Not sure, sadly i don't have that many GPUs to play with, though I think owning a reference GTX 980Ti and a reference R9 Fury X is a bit much for one guy lol.

Wow that's huge increases! Koduri is really leading the new graphics group well by the looks of it. Hopefully they can keep this up.

Anyone tested a 290? there where areas in the game that just whent in to slide show for me lol this included flying in the vertibird.

Just go through that specific area if it's not a slideshow then it's fixed
But no I haven't tested with a 290.. don't even own the game

Thank the gods! I've resorted to playing on medium on my R9 290 so I can maintain 60 fps.

Gonna try the new drivers tonight!

Haha yes, things could be much worse to be able to test those two beasts!
Thanks for the diligence and getting this info out there, it's the only place I've seen mention of the performance increase.

*fingers crossed AMD continues on this path of kick-assery quick turn around improvements*
