PQI 64GB SSD w/ SATA

PQI has announced a new 2.5" SSD SATA Drive. This huge capacity is a first for SSD's and hopefully the trend will continue. Check the news for more information and a picture.

Don't forget to express your opinion about it below...

Seems promising. Hopefully this takes on instead of regular HDs. New tech FTW.

I want to know how it performs TBH. I have a feeling that a conventional HD would outperform it, flash memory is pretty slow.

Well Flash memory is said to have better boot times and read times. However, it has a slower write time. Check out this linky for advantages and disadvantages.
