ASUS Z97 TUF Sabranco White Motherboard Review

We finally get our hands on the Sabranco long enough to run it through our suite of benchmarks. Does it go as nicely as it looks?

Reading a review of a motherboard I've already bought...

I believe it was the YouTube preview where I first saw this board, and I knew I had to have it. Upgrading from an i5 3570K to the Broadwell i7 when it comes out. I've got the matching Sabranco memory and a 970 HOF. It's going to be sweet!

Nice review though, properly enjoyed this one. Glad I got myself one of these boards.

Shouldn't the gaming benchmark be a bit higher though?

Theory is when you have the "know how" but nothing works.
Practice is when everything works but no one knows why.
In our lab, theory and practice are combined: Nothing works and no one knows why

I saw the Sleeping dogs benchmark have a 9fps difference. Is it considered inside the margin of error? I don't know

Actually never mind. I'm so stupid...

I've never really wanted an all-white motherboard before I saw this one. Now I'm looking at White GPUs and coolers too. LOL!

Good review.

A 9 FPS difference between the Sabranco and the Gaming 5 on Sleeping Dogs ? Seems a little bonkers.

I thought we were rid of the days of seeing motherboards dictating fps in such a huge way.

I'm loving mine at the moment. And I'm not just saying that because I own one now. It is a fantastic board.

I want to get the Avexir memory but sadly not possible where I live. Would cost me around £50 to have it shipped from UK and then I would have to pay tax for the product cost + shipped cost.

Not financially worth it.

If you can wait 5 months I could send it to you from Berlin as I'm there in June so all you would have to pay would be the cost of the memory and I could ship it to your place via my moms work using DPD which she gets free of charge completely bypassing excess charges, Plus I could put a good deed on my belt

Just food for thought dude, Don't mind helping out other OC3D'ers

That would be awesome dude!

I waited for the motherboard since it was previewed by ASUS. I'm sure I can wait a few months for the memory sticks

Also bypasses all tax if it is sent as a "gift" mwahaha
