Zowie return to the gaming peripheral fray with the FK1 Gaming Mouse. Does it stand out in this swamped market sector?

Zowie's EC1 would be a better bet compared to this imo. Looks very minimalist as well. The yellow and black of the FK1 is a bit cheap I guess.

I'm presuming the sensor is very, very good in this knowing Zowie. I honestly don't mind the looks that much either. Mainly because I don't like LED 'gaming' mice much at all.

I see this mouse being highly recommended by a lot of people for some reason, mainly CS and other competitive FPS players.

Looks like they have done what every other manufacturer seems to do these days and slap the word "gaming" on it knowing that the drones will buy it because of it.

Ouch! That overall score, and the price... what were they thinking.

Its an actual gaming mouse though. Definitely not an OEM design with gaming slapped over it, unlike what several companies seem to be doing these days.

I don't see this doing too well in the normal ''gamer'' market but knowing Zowie the sensor and the overall precision should be amazing... maybe a pro-gamer only product..?

I saw a thread a while back here (can't remember if it was the small talk or something else) where people were talking about buying old Microsoft mice that my school uses, with basically no added features just because the sensor in them was top-notch. While I can see the average gamer of today needing a lot of features from their mouse, I can see this mouse doing well among pro FPS gamers if the sensor is flawless

All you have to do is look at the Steelseries Rival* to see this product would be a flop. Flawless, similar features & aesthetics and ten quid cheaper. What were they thinking?! The only good thing to come out of this is the Comade, but that's way too expensive when I could buy a Razer Bungee for £12 or use a bloody hard drive.

*Yes, I know that there are other mice I could compare it to...

Meh, I just get sick of seeing everything with gaming slapped on it
I was talking to someone earlier before making that post who was trying to tell me MSI Gaming motherboards are the best boards for a gaming PC because they are made especially for gaming

The Rival is definitely one of the best mice available at the moment, I have one myself. The only thing is the ruber sides start to wear after a while.
