Some very nice temps there, but i must say that thing is massive.

How many slots does that thing occupy? 4.... 5?

That being said it does deliver a cooling experience which is only beaten by a water cooler.

I guess you could get some low profile fans to lower the overal size. Very impressive temperatures. It shows how much AMD messed up with the stock cooler.

Most people only runa single GPU and maybe at worst a soundcard so there isnt much need. It only rules out dual cards and slim fans wouldnt fix that....

It'd give it a less bulky profile though, no? It might look a bit better with thinner fans. Just my feeling on the matter :P. I just like the shape of the cooler and I think the fans kind of distract from the overall lines.

Nice, i've been looking forward to seeing more reviews of the Morpheus.
You can pick reference 290s up for pretty cheap now, even with the extra cost of the Morpheus it can still work out cheaper than a non ref card. If you already have a ref 290 then even better.

The good thing as well is you can fit some Corsair SP or other quieter/high performance fans on it and get even better/quieter performance.

I agree with you on that, now that the mining craze is dying out you can find a lot of cheap R9 series cards now. That being said the miners will have put them through a lot of punishment.

True, personally I wouldn't buy one unless I got the original receipt with it and it was still under warranty.

That's pretty much what i did before buying my R9 290 Tri-X, don't know if i could trust a reference cooled version under that kind of load for so long.
