Nvidia Buys iPod Chip Supplier

Nvidia has bought PortalPlayer in a hope to utilise its technology in their next generation PDA's and portable media players. For those who don't know, PortalPlayer supplies silicon for Sandisk media players, and counts Bang & Olufsen, Philips and Samsung as customers. How do you think this purchase will effect Apple and their iPod? Feel free to comment below...
