Nvidia G80 Retail Details Finalised

Leading up to the launch of the G80, it has been revealed that there will be two versions available - the GeForce 8800GTX and 8800GTS. As we've previously posted, the cards are due out in November; so you'd better start saving now if you haven't already. Judging by the specifications and the screenshots, these cards are gonna be monsters. Hands up who's going to be getting one come release day? Feel free to comment on the news article below...

Ye tis quite random but I assume it works...

I spose they wanted to balance between performance and price...and make it look better than the 7 series...in random consumers eyes

There are also rumours that the 8800s will have onboard physics engines.

just the news ive been waiting for,ile definately be buying one so long as the prices arent ridiculous.

any ball park prices yet? ime eager to know how much they are gonna want for these cards..
