New Core 2 stepping is on the way

Intel today officially announced that a new stepping of Core 2 Duo's is now shipping. Stepping "F" fixes bugs with the processor, yet those bugs were not made clear in the report. This is not a reason for you to drop everything and sell your Core 2 Duo so you can get the new stepping, as most if not all end users will notice zero difference. The important thing is that Intel is swiftly dealing with any bugs that arise. This is one of the negative side effects produced by releasing the Core 2 Duo chips ahead of schedule.
