COD: World at War gets release dates

Activision Blizzard have confirmed the release dates for the forthcoming COD title.

Well this "other" company making CoD products could at least use something they made for once instead of riding off everybody elses shirt tails. And for god sakes make something original. WW2 was so 2004.

why reinvent the wheel? Would you say the same as above about all the unreal engined games?

I like the CoD games. And as for WWII, CoD havent ventured to the pacific yet. I think it could work really well.

I'd have to agree with Maguire, the WW2-setting is getting pretty worn out now. Every other FPS features "real scenarios" from Nazi Germany and crap like that. I loved Modern Warface, as it was a game with real weapons, not crappy old wooden bolt action ancient rifles and (not saying those aren't real, but you get my drift).

But I'll be giving the next CoD a chance, only because of Modern Warfare. If I hadn't played it, I wouldn't look twice at the next one.

is it just me or is a new cod game like released every month lol they really need to take some time on there games i mean they look good, good gameplay but nothing new

Cod2 - 4 using the same engine was ok because there was a big noticeable difference and they changed what the game was all about in it. This other company producing these off the wall CoD games are just riding on the popularity of the good CoD games. They need to make their own if they're gonna do this. Thats just my opinion though.
