I read somewhere that the 9800GTX is exactly the same as the 8800GTS but is slightly overclocked.

Not a new core or anything, I could be wrong though

Correct. Higher binned cores with better power = bigger OC's... That is why they are cheap for a gtx

oiooh, im not too good on 3dmark scores, but that looks pretty good, maybe someone can help a bit more on that front
