I've never really got into PC gaming and would describe myself as a fairly hardcore 360 gamer so I can't really say it makes a big difference to me anyway. As Jim said nothing that good came from UE3 anyway.

Looking at the bigger picture of pc gaming, in comparison it sucks on a whole. There aren`t too many u can name that u keep going back to after a rip, and there are many that are over a year old (or are `newer` versions with a graphic pack or expansion).

Luckily, I`m happy with the small niche.

Then again, I`d buy nintendo for zelda and ps for ff.

Yeah not that fussed to be honest.. UT has never interested me for some reason.. Gave UT3 a bash and it didn't hook me in at all.. I get 6 games a year or so I reckon and maybe half for PC and half console (currently PS3) depending on the control system used.

As long as Steam / Valve stay and SiGames keep churning out my Footy Managers I'm happy ... Oh yeah and EA keep me happy with some C&C goodness.

tbf i agree, UT3 sucked.

I play counter strike source, cod 4 and command and conquer generals (Y). They have had me hooked for ages. Nothing else has the same appeal.

I am heart broken.. UT was made for the PC... now it turns it's back and goes for the consoles!

Lost my respect.

I think you guys are missing the point here, at least to an extent. We're not talking about the Unreal series of games. We're talking about the engine, on which games such as Bioshock and Lineage II were based upon

After being an unreal tournament gamer for 8yrs (apart from UT3) - RIP UT tbh. There's plenty of other decent engines out there for the other games.
