AMD, We want performance.. we are not bothered about how many watts it consumes.

aha but think about an office with 1000s of pcs...most of which unfortunately left on costing thousands and using so much fuel.

but yeh...performance amd! :bornleet:

Agreed with mrapoc, large companies with hundrens and thousands of PC's will appreciate this. X2's dfo what they want at a very low cost and energy usage point

and besides, less watt's = less heat = potentially more overclock...

I thought that the Phenom X4s where supposed to be 45w on AM3? Guess they released it early, but like said. I guess this is ok, but better on the Barcelona cores :/

This is the reply from the majority of the enthusiasts in the market.

However corporate faces look at it differently. Both through costing and their `green image`.

Average person could give an eff how much power it consumes if it`s the fastest thing around.
