Colorful RTX 4060 Ti Ultra OC Specs leak - Is 8GB of VRAM enough?

It's DOA if the leaked specs are true. While they might show impressive benchmark results in selected titles that are already out, this GPU has no future.

Sheesh, at least give it 10GB. I can see the rumor being true considering the laptop 4060/4070 is an 8GB GPU.

Question is for what it's designed. With 1440p getting more and more attractive and easier to run at high FPS, a new 1080p oriented card seems a little weird. Will depend on its pricing. My 1070 has 8GB as well and I haven't seen any game making full use of those at 1080p.

It can't be a 1080p card. 3060Ti is already decent at 1440p, since it was basically just a lower binned 3070. If they try to sell this as a 1080p card then they shouldn't even attempt to price it higher than $300.

It's designed as a mass rip off for every one.

Remember, the mass majority are still using 1080p. This is aimed at them.

The sad part of that is that 1440p monitors are usually not much more expensive, but GPU technology and price are not pushing people forward.

This card is a clear example of that, as it doesn't have enough VRAM. I can already tell you it is over priced, too. That one is easy, because Nvidia only bring out the Ti moniker when they want to bugger people out of their hard earned cash. They will also probably release it before the 4060 too, as they know once they do none of these will sell to any one.

So the rinsing and rogering continues. BTW for the non English Rogering is f**king.

If this leak proves true, they are just going thru' the motions and not even trying.

They are trying to rip people off. End of. So they are trying.

Not sure I would when such a bulky GPU in my case when it is just average performance at best. Massive thing for such little gain.

if this is £400 it's a bad deal if it's more than that then bend over lol

Two chances of that price. F and all.

3070 RRP was £469. 3060Ti RRP was £399. You're dreaming if you think a TSMC card at the same model will cost the same. My guess? £499. At least.
