Samsung's SM961 Polaris SSD becomes available for Pre-order

Samsung's new ultra fast SM961 SSD is now available for Pre-order, with read and write speeds of 3200MB/s and 1800MB/s and Samsung's new Polaris controller.

It's like they want to confuse everyone! Maybe there will be 480(G polaris options to be had that will release at months end??
I say screw it, everyone start over at 1. Soon packaging will be larger just to fit the damn product names all over it!

There are 200-400 billion stars in this galaxy alone and they have to choose the one AMD already claimed. Doesn't seem like the type of thing you can't change last minute.

Yup, hopefully they have some sort of agreement in place just in case one or the other gets salty for some odd reason. Sammy v AMD though, AMD seems like a gonner
