Some useful stuff

The first one is kinda good, the second one has good read speed but terrible write speed ( well, considering that I'm going to use it as a Windows bootable drive it doesn't matter a lot )

I was planning on building a media pc for my bedroom, but my 6 year old, 50" Samsung plasma tv in the living room, has reached his early teens, and started to develope, spots, well that's what the weekly occurring dead pixels, are starting to look like.

So I went on the bargain hunt with just less than £300 to play with, I was expecting to maybe get a 40"/42" but I was shocked to walk into Currys, and next to my first choice was a 49" JVC, for £279, that pleasantly shocked me on how good the picture actually was, it isn't packed with features, but it does have a DVR, if you insert an external drive of flash drive in the rear, full 1080p.

The main use for it is for movie streaming connected to my main rig, so it is good enough for my needs. And it definitely, and upgrade from my 3D ready, 720p Plasma, with 3" bezels, and weighs according to it's box, 46Kg, and I can believe it as it takes 2 people to mount it too it's wall bracket.

The picture doesn't do it justice the bezels are only 8mm the picture make them look huge.

Looks very nice. Kinda makes you look like you're a wealthy man, with a big glass desk and a mansion

yeah I got five ferraris
-edit- inside joke nvm.

Its not my photo. I dunno why the seller thought that was a good way to advertise a £10 case for a £150 phone.

I had no option. Because the phone isn't available in the UK officially there aren't many hard metal cases for it. This was the only one I could get on next day.

I bought a battery and case for my Samsung S5 a few months ago. I got it up to 6 hours after rooting it, but that was not good enough. I use the phone a lot and have to have it with me all the time. I have been contacted for emergencies with my 90.5 year old mom when she has hit her medical emergency fob she wears and with my health issues it was recommended I have a phone with me all the time. The 7500 Mah battery from Anker is great. I charge it about every 48 hours, but it is only down to 40% then. It is very nice to not have to worry if my battery will last as long as I'm away. It is heavy and bulky, but I like that, I hated dealing with a thin phone, it was hard to hold without accidentally hitting a button or the screen.
