So far it looks like the only difference in support is that NVidia doesn't support the HDMI implementation of FreeSync, only the original AdaptiveSync based DisplayPort implementation, so basically no TVs.

What will happen to the Gsync Monitors. =( I own one and I think the value will greatly drop as the premium gsync will be enabled on freesync monitors.

They will still be manufactured but they are being rebranded as "G-Sync Ultimate".

No, the current G-Sync stays the same. G-Sync Ultimate is a rebrand of G-Sync HDR.

So this means gsync monitors will definitely drop. I saw a store selling its 27" agon gsync monitors on about P20000 equivalent to roughly $400. Hope to have another great feature to be upgraded on the current gsync monitors so that the money spent on those premiums wont be wasted.
