It has also been scientifically proven recently that when we die our brains go into overload and stay active for a long time after death.

What is it doing? uploading code, maybe? transferring code?

Seriously, I wouldn't be so quick to be an atheist. I have also read studies by ITC researchers that says that when you die you go to where you believe you will go.
A friend of mine recently tried some N,N-Dimethyltryptamine , apperently it activates areas of the brain that become active during death. You vape it like an electronic ciggarete. This experience has changed him from a nervous non trusting, aggressive person to somebody who has now been able to face up to his personal issues and get on with life. He told me that he has seen the otherside and no longer has any fear about anything. Crazy ! ! They call it the Spirit Molecule. Loads of vids on you tube..

I also believe something/some one created us. Hmmm For one thing, computer code has no physical properties, and cannot exist without some sort of medium where as DNA has physical properties. It seems DNA, when you get down to it, is just chemical reactions, and terms like “genetic code” are a bit of a misnomer. That or the “genetic code” is something we humans came up with to help us explain easier how DNA works.
What it does is just a function of the laws of chemistry and physics working through specific chemical interactions. If it’s a code, then so is every other chemical formula. Therefore, water (H2O) is a code.

also as for proof of afterlife i can give you first hand experience - what people think there is an after life or experience one after a near death experience is your brain trying to peace together missing /blank spots after you come back -and mostly you will see what ever your beliefs are ,thats your brain in panic mode stringing together crap so you dont go bonkers lol

example when i killed over as said previously '''nearly'' died 3 times one time they did have to bring me back i saw myself on operating table in a massive under ground lab and surgeons were transforming me into a whale to carry on ... that was my brain tryin to put together what happened
while others i talked to and i talked to a lot of people same boat as i done all that time in Israeli the christians saw Jesus the Muslims saw Mohamed ect ect you get were im going

this will explain it better -

But yeah, that now clicks if I bend it. And hurts all winter.
Yeah I know what you mean, I just didn't expect it to have such prominent lasting effects.

Golf club is a bit OTT...

OK let me explain my experiences with the after life. Do note, these are not first hand as I used to take the urine out of my ex and call her a "Ghost buster" and etc. God that used to wind her up..

Any way, I am THE most skeptical person on this forum. It's a fact, because people who suffer from depression (and I have tried to take my life three times now...) are the most cynical skeptical people alive. That is why the UK race does not get ripped off by people anywhere near as the USA because they are generally nicer, more trusting people.

OK, so it goes a little something like this. Modern EVP is just that, electronic voice phenomenon. Now before I got into this please read this part, as this is critically important. My ex wife has a very "Checkered" past. That is putting it mildly. I am not here to judge her, put her down ETC.I accepted her for who she was, I am very liberal like that as you may have noticed when Dice gets all Bin Laden and makes women out to be controllable objects.

Any way, I did warn her that not everybody is as liberal or forgiving when it comes to the things she has done. Morally? some of it is purely rotten. I will use one example, just so that you understand. My ex had a best friend. No names going on here, but she basically used to "Madam" her best friend and sell her to men, taking a chunk of the profit. It was me who put a stop to it, I could not sleep at night. She on the other hand couldn't give AF.

So yes, I've always believed that there is an afterlife. I just wanted proof, as we all do.

Now firstly there was this guy called Montague Keen.

http://www.montaguekeen.com/page127.html

He spent his entire life devoted to EVP and so on. My ex did her research and tried to contact him using EVP. I heard plenty of reasonably clear messages from him. Some of it I could not hear at all, but there was a good chunk of fully understandable English there...

Now let me explain the method of EVP. Basically you need a computer with a mic, and something like Audacity to record "What you hear".

OK, so then what you do is get yourself a gibberish file. By Gibberish I mean complete nonsense, *or* a file in another language completely, so if anything legible in English does come through you know what you are getting. However, just to up the ante a little my ex also reversed it. IE - played the gibberish file, of the entire Portuguese language backward. So when I say gibberish let me absolutely assure you this was complete nonsense and sounded like an alien speaking.

You then (whilst playing this gibberish file and recording it and yourself) talk, and wait for answers. I heard *plenty* of messages from Monty, even in his accent (look on YT for his stuff) and so on. However, EVEN THEN I completely didn't buy it. Until something happened...

Now one day my ex came into the living room (she used to lock herself in the bedroom to do it, meaning I wouldn't even see her for 15 hours a day, part of the reason why I chucked her out) crying her eyes out. I asked her what was wrong, trying to be sympathetic (because I really didn't care about it, I will find out when I'm dead, right?) and she said that "Monty" had basically told her that because of her past he could not use her for his research as his "team" on the other side all said no way. She was absolutely beside herself. Now bear in mind I can be a real unempathic a-hole at times, and was sick of hearing about it, but I decided to be nice and at least hear what they had to say. I really thought she was losing her mind....

So I goes into the bedroom and she plays me these messages from "Wayne" he clearly said his name aloud in clear English. She then asked why he didn't like her, to which he replied, as clear as day and as blatant as morning -

"F**k off you c**t" Now I made her play it back probably twenty times, but I could 100% tell you that the line above was exactly what I heard. Even though she wasn't medicated *I* was. I have not heard voices or had any hallucinations in over ten years, since starting Seroquel.

I asked her to give me the recording, but of course she was in denial and refused to hand it over. However, any one who even REMOTELY knows me knows I don't stand for BS. That will be the Brixton in me, and where I grew up.

But I'm telling you, that is what it said. As clear as crystal. And tbh? with a slight joke inserted here, they about had it spot on.

As I said, I warned her before she even started. Even though I am pessimistic, cynical, skeptical and all of those things I have always believed something or some one created us, we were somewhere before we were born and we go somewhere when we die.

P.S near death experience doesn't count. That isn't death. Some parts of your brain are still alive and interacting with your body. My uncle once had a heart operation and they stopped his heart for however long it takes. However, they were feeding his brain oxygen so he was not technically dead. IE - his body parts did not start to release chemicals, he didn't crap himself and so on.

The fact is? unless we can find out scientifically EXACTLY what the brain is doing we will never know for sure until we are dead. Me? I don't care either way. At the end of the day if there is nothing at all at least I won't worry/stress/be depressed any more and if there is something nice? then it's a no lose situation.

However, I've always had this feeling there is something, and that bad people go to a different place.. That was why I warned her before she started, because even I knew with a large grain of salt there were more evil spirits than good ones, as the good ones pass over and the evil ones stay stuck where they are.

Only just seen this thread so here we go:

I'm 23, doing an IT Honours through Open University since I ditched A-Levels to look after my mum (Spinal op, won't go into more detail from there). I'm in final year, doing my final project on Wireless QoS. Going to get my CCNA, CompTia N+ and Microsoft certs after I've finished.

I was an Air Cadet for 7 years, raising to the top of the cadet ranks. Went to multiple place including Wales, Northern Ireland, Cyprus and Gibraltar. Did a gliding scholarship through the cadets, I was supposed to fly solo at some point but it was the wet and windy summer of 2011 so that never happened. I was one of the best shots out of everyone in the wing (I once managed a grouping small enough to make a single hole in a target in the shape of a p**is as well)

I would love to be a pilot but my bank account says no and scholarships are notoriously hard to get.

I've been to Chernobyl (My picture is from the Ferris Wheel in Pripyat). Going to Cuba later this year and then Japan once I've learned the language to a good standard.

With PC building:
My first rig went up in smoke, can't remember exactly why because it was 10 years ago, safe to say it was dead.
I've never built a custom Water Cooling setup
I favour part manufacturers with good reliability records over all out performance (Ironic considering my MSI board)

My Mom translates English movies into German for the German film industry, She's done over 50 films so far.

My brother has worked with Til Schweiger and Christoph Waltz both from Inglorious Basterds as he also works in the German film industry.

My dad and Michael Caine once bumped into eachother in London many years ago and they both looked confused as they could be mistaken for brothers, He then did some research and it turns out Caines family originates from the same part of Ireland as my dad so there could be a connection there as the looks are uncanny.

I escorted a few girlfriends to the Mission Impossible premier in Berlin, We got there early and so did Tom Cruise so we all spent 30 minutes chatting, Really nice guy and also very into his families Irish roots which apparently his film "Far and Away" is loosely based upon.

There we go, Some things you didn't know

I am scared of being alone, so I try to be surrounded by people as much as possible and pretend like everything is fine, but actually, it is not! Currently, I found out that there is nothing wrong with being left alone, only then I can find some time to find out what really bothers me and change it, or just have some time for myself.

I was like that when I was younger. I felt like I had to be around people all the time. Then I got to 16 and it completely reversed. Problem is I lived in a very busy part of London and everywhere I went there was at least some one who knew me. That really used to annoy me as I got older, as I felt I couldn't get any peace.

So I upped and moved.. To America that fixed it

Since then I have been a lot more picky about who I let into my life (that would be pretty much no one).
