LOL, that's on my project list....now that I have a place to actually work on the sleeving it should get done...eventually.

I had originally planned to put my cable modem, switch, and patch panel in a closet somewhere. However, with the theme of the room, I thought it would look great on the wall instead of hidden.

There was already an outlet halfway up one of the walls so I mounted a piece of plywood and the patch panel directly above it. My wireless router is centrally located in my house so two of the runs go back to that. I have a home server in another room that some runs go back to then there are various runs in other locations. There's also room for future expansion.



Instead of leaving the cable visible up the wall I cut a few pieces of conduit and mounted them.





I did originally have an ASUS gigabit switch, but it ended up dying. I replaced it with a Cisco switch. My router that isn't pictured is the ASUS RT-AC3200.

Finished and tidied a bit.



Edit: Only additional thing I have yet to do is shorten the cable on the surge protector. I think that will look better than having it coiled and zip-tied.
