Agreed, i'd say more poorly executed than unnecessary though. If they changed the logo to be less "gamer" and more like the original Corsair one it would look much better

I felt as a forum of relatively heavy Corsair users we owed it to ourselves to discuss this

When I saw the logo in Toms K70 RGB vid I have to admit I had a WTF moment. It didn't look like it belonged on the K70 and looked out of place, most of Corsairs stuff has that clean and elegant look to it and that logo spoils that nice clean elegant look.

It's up to Corsair what they do with their stuff though, but personally I don't like it and I wouldn't buy anything with that logo on it.
I agree. As soon as something is branded for gaming i avoid it like the plague. 'Gaming' gear is usually just cheap with LEDs.
Corsair Cases, SSDs, AIOs and PSUs? Yes please. Corsair peripherals? No thanks.

The gaming logo doesn't fit with their brand imo. It should be memorable, yet understated like their main logo. If the logo wasn't just slapped onto the K70, it might have looked a tad better.

I like the logo on the k90 the old logo.
The new one id remove or cover it.
If i upgraded to the RGB one and i do mean if id take bevel out the old one and put it in place lol.
Must admit does look like a tramp stamp...
Or kinda looks like the hilt from Lion O's sword of omen lol ... or maybe im looking for something good from that naffness

It would seem that the petition has had an effect, with over 6000 votes so far Corsair appear to be listening...
