TBH I'm more hyped for DOOM Eternal. They really set the proper tone in DOOM 2016.

I hear a lot of people saying that they wish TNC, and by extension Youngblood, was more like The New Order and Old Blood.

With Youngblood I'm more excited about seeing the Raytracing patch than I am about playing the rest of the game. I have limited game time and I'd rather play something else.

Thanks. I've also learned, that there is no or very poor checkpoint saves so people report loosing 30-60 minutes of progress when being killed. Looks like they tried to make a coop game into a single player game with a few quick fixes rather than doing the actual work needed. Fixing both issues, however, seems to be really easy and fast so why it like this I cannot understand.

It pains me not getting the latest Wolfenstein game now (I've been with the series since the original back in in 1981) but will likely pick it up at half price, that should come soon seeing the tons of bad user reviews. 2.6 on Metacritic. Yikes!

Looks like reading this has saved me some money...just to clarify, you really need another person to join you in this game and you then go out and kill as a team?

The game is playable in single player, but it is designed with multiplayer in mind. It is best played with someone else.
