Is there ever going to be a case where you retest some of the older stock versions of GPU's, to get some reference points to the graphs? The difference between 1080 designs will most likely be small in comparison, but if you compare it to say reference 780 78ti 980 980ti and 1080 people will be able to see exactly what upgrades do.

Just my 2 cent

Cards like this one are aimed at enthusiasts, and if "they" find AIO tricky to fit they might aswell get, a xbone or ps4 console

Too bad. That would be very useful for all the people that are not using the newest possible cards.

Personally, I have no need for 10 variants of GTX980ti. or 10 GTX 980's.
I'd gladly exchange 80% of those for the inclusion of
1 x 680
1 x 780
1 x 780ti

Adding these, would mean the reviews made sense to more people then just owners of 9xx GPU's.

GTX970 are on the list. But not overly much so, considering the massive success the card have had. But 1-2 or plenty when you want to see how it fares against a new card.

I get what you are saying, but I also dont see much point. You are saying you want a review to compare a 1080 with e.g. a 970reference which you currently own pretty much or cards similar to yours.

Then why not download some benchmarks and run the test yourself with a 970 and use them to compare? Heaven, Valley, etc these are free downloads.

Just to test one card and give a detailed analysis takes a stinking amount of time so I cant see how reviews have time to do it. Plus after seeing TTL's other half being a real nice bit of eye candy, I would be insane to spend time with GPUs and not "mah woman"

Great review loving the new charts and games added to the benches. I much prefer this to the 980 strix design.

My floundears edition hit 2.169Ghz core and 11ghz memory so I don't think it's that bad of a card
