Shipment 1 of 2...

Returned from the dentist to find a package containing:

I chose this EK-RES X3 250 for this port here:

Remember it for it will clean things up on the business side.

As most I am suffering the void of Bitspower black sparkle 90 degree rotary fittings. I came across this lil' number [BP-BSE90RML] and was initially stoked! It appeared that Bitspower has made a miniature Primochill-esque acrylic compression fitting. Also it's a couple of dollars cheaper to cop this versus a 90 and C47.

Unfortunately it behaves like a C47. The screw-down does not offer any clamping benefit. I can pull the acrylic out fully assembled. But, I like this fitting a lot. It provides the non-bulky aesthetic of the C48 fitting with the dual O ring security of the C47. I will use this fitting in all the visible parts of the loop. Bitspower makes this style in every angle previously offered. Maybe I will be the first to post a build with these?...

Stay tuned...

Correction...

After my last update I played with the fittings some more. Turns out I didn't assemble them properly. I pushed the Crystal Link ALL THE WAY in the fitting and screwed it down. That Crystal Link didn't budge!!! Very nice fittings, indeed.

Updates!!!

There has been a MAJOR redesign...

Every time I stare at this build for long periods of time, it changes...for the better!

Back shot

No more spinning storage!

The fluid tint is COMPLETELY accidental. Turns out I did not flush my GPU blocks. There was just enough Mayhems Pastel Ice White left to give this tint. It's good for the time being. I'm lovin' this res though.

The bends on the furthest right acrylic was especially tricky...

...VERY tricky

My first full acylic loop. Wasn't as hard as I thought. I ordered WAY more E22 than I needed. I screwed up three small pieces. After that I just got better with every bend. There is plenty to do still like tighten all the bolts down, etc. Wiring pictured is def not final. I'm going to section off the remaining top area of the case for an all SSD NAS build. I will use my left over 480 for that. Yes, overkill A.K.A. "futureproofing" is the name of the game here. I will try to remember to take progress pics for that phase. No progress pics for this update because I was getting frustrated and my smarty would have paid the price. I'm also thinking of changing the coolant to the blue used in the "Neutron" text on the SSD.

Stay tuned...

Very, very, VERY minuscule update...

There will be no VISIBLE Noctuas in my build. In the main compartment will reside two of these set ups:

Stay tuned...
