Help needed

I have my replacement C6H fitted
everything checks out,all connection ok, power ok, the Graphic card powers up, the rgb lights up but the board doesn't power up it just seems to be dead,
don't think I can face another RMA,
is there anything obvious I'm missing

unplug cable pull cmos battery press power button for 10 seconds to help drain any remaining juice. The jump clear cmos pin if ur board has that (best option) or push clear cmos button if no pins. replace all you took apart and retry.

This should do the trick. Is the CPU Ready LED on? It's a green LED just underneath the CPU Fan header.

According to the manual, red means the CPU is not ready to boot. You could try reinstalling the CPU if removing the CMOS battery doesn't work

now the cpu light is green,

still won't post, I've tried the power switch and the start switch on the board

I've never had this before,

There's a little 2-digit display above the RAM slots on the mobo? Does that say anything? E.g. 'Ad' or '08'?
