Small progress!

A few day ago I decided to whip out a can of gloss clear coat to bring my case to my desired gloss-white finish I so love.

Here the first few results. It's no where near an automotive grade finish but I didn't expect that to happen anyway since the case has a very rough finish to begin with and I didnt want to sand down/polish all the panels. (I would have done that though if the result wouldn't have turned out that good, imo.

This pic right there is showing exactly how I wanted it to look like.

And just so you guys have a bit of reference of how glossy it actually is.

Right this have been the first 2 panels I made, kinda like a test. I'm excited to get to work on the side panels.
Hope you guys enjoyed this quick update and i hope to see you in the next one!

This with Red Trim instead of the yellow would look sweet. Even though I'm over all the red/black builds. I'm liking the Green version you posted earlier too. edit- actually this with green trim is even better IMO.

Loving the build name as well

The orange peel on the clear coat is pretty dreadful dude. No offence, but you need to get wet sanding and applying a few more coats to that.

I know it's not great but I can easily live with it.
One of the many reasons it turned out that way was the rough paintjob the case had to begin with, I completely forgot to take care of that and just started applying clear coat to the case. When I realized what i wanted to do in preparation it was too late.
Happens I guess but it's not un fixable and the case certainly won't stay like that. I already have many different vinyl samples, metallic and chrome etc, shipping to me.

That front panel has done wonders for it mate, it gave it just what it needed, as much as I love black and white cases, they always seem to fall a bit flat.

Tiny babysteps were made!

I replaced my Scythe Ashura with the Prolimatech Samuel17 from a buddy of mine. Mostly only for aesthetic reasons.

It is a seriously small Top-blow cooler but it does the job very well considering that!

Temps are rather similar to my Scythe.
Under Prime95 Small FFT's it now reaches 62°C and with my Scythe it hit around 40°C with fan and around 55°C passive.

Thanks for checking by once again!

P.S.: Yes, I took off the thermal armor. No I won't explain why
