Corsair 110i GTX vs H110i GT noise level + performance

I just wanted to ask you guys your experience and the difference between the corsair H110i GTX and the H110i GT.

I heard some rumors may be alot louder / not as good as the GT. Even thought its newer.

But I am curious to here others experience. - I got a GTX myself, and I am consindering, maybe getting it switched out with GT, if its alot less noicy.

I will get a support guy from the store I bought it from to look at it, and either get it switched out or keep my GTX, if it turns out its just me who think its abit loud under gaming and heavy load. - I have set it on quite setting and such.

The focus however, is which of the coolers are better or less noicey. I mind be able to get a switch out, so I like to hear peoples experience and which of em that is the best.

I am able to send it to the support have it fix, should it turn out to be an error that the GTX is loud, so don't think too much about that

Have you changed your fan profiles and set manual volts to reduce noise first?

I am unsure what that is, but I am more curious about which of the product does better, since there is a chance I can switch my GTX out with GT.

Unless its an easy solved problem, but I am sending the machine in for other problems too.

So I rather we focus on which of the two products is the best, noice and performance wise

I don't wanna mod either, due to it voiding my warranty.

All AIO's can and are noisey if not set up correctly.

My advise above stands, if you want a quiet system you have to set it up. Otherwise just 'fitting' another AIO will just give you the same problems.

Do you have Corsair Link installed to change the fan profiles?

Corsair link kept deleting my setups, so it was set to be managed through the motherboard manually.

Have Corsair link been fixed?

Aswell which of them is the quieter / Cools best / Overall better performer

they are both using the same fans so there wouldn't be a difference, i have the H100i gtx that uses the 120 version and as tom says setting them up make the difference

I believe the only difference is the OEM manufacturer. One is Cool it and one is asetek. The pumps are not going to be that different as far as noise as they're pretty much set and forget. The only real changes you make to the profiles are the fan curves.

To be honest I think you will be hard pressed to find a cooler that performs well and is completely silent under heavy load. I can't hear my H100 over the GPU's when gaming. All my case fans are on the same controller as well. It's more the noise from the airflow you hear than the actual pump or fans. There's always going to be some noise. As Greenback says - they're exactly the same fans.

IF you have a faulty pump however you may get loud clicking or a grinding noise. That would be worth investigating.

If youre doing it through the mobo - you need to still use software otherwise it will just do what it wants with the fans and youll probably be hitting 100% fans under a proper load

With link sadly you probably were not saving them correctly
