No Man's Sky's latest update adds multiplayer support - kinda?

The game is slowly becoming what was originally promised.

Probably not a bad thing, this game should've never had as much exposure as it did. Pretty sure if there hadn't been the insane unrealistic hype and admittedly the god awful marketing strategy this game would have a reputation as a decent indie game.

On the steam page the recent reviews are much higher than I thought it would be. Game certainly is doing better based off the reviews but still not what it was promised.

I doubt it would last long before people once again realize that at the core, its still the same grind of mining to get things done.

As long as it keeps getting better. Baby steps after all, it is what they need in order to get to there ultimate goal

The game is currently 16 quid on Steam, and for that price, it's a no-brainer tbh. It's not the game many people thought it would be, but it's a great game for 'mindless' space wandering. It's very relaxing, almost therapeutic.

That's roughly the price the game should've been. Decent niche exploring game, procgen should allow for a bit more variety but still you've got a game you can put 20-30h in, which i suppose is alright value. Good to see that people are starting to judge the game based on what it is, not what it was promised to be and what they expected it to be.

I wandered off and got lost. It all looked the bloody same. I would say I put up with that for about an hour before calling it quits lol.

its been Re-reviewed on Bit tech. The new features interested them, but the love was gone again within 1hour. It wasnt enough to bring back the users.

only 4000 peak people worldwide play this now apparently.
