Too be honest im not sure. I bought it used its actually shaped like a L i just dont use the extra piece. i believe its from staples..? Thanks guys

Looks great, What's the 3D like on that monitor ?

No idea :P lol The main reason i bought it is because it has 144hz refresh rate and 2ms response time. Was pretty pricey but my last monitor i had for almost 3 years so i imagine ill have this one that long as well and wanted something that id be happy with.

Its ok. Nothing special. I had that monitor until it packed in on me. 3D had me interested for about 10mins.

I'd love to give 3D a go as I've tried it at a friends house and loved it but having only just got my Dell Ultra Sharp 27" 1440P I can't justify the cost of changing just for a higher refrsh rate and 3D :(

Very nice, the glass desks look great. Do you know roughly how much weight they can take?

To be honest ive never even thought about it lol Ive had 3 22" monitos on it at one time and never ran into any issues. Where is attaches the glass to the desk there are 6 suction cups 3 on each cross brace so about 14" apart from either direction. Its actually very solid. I love the look of the glass but its very hard to keep clean, you can see every piece of dust or finger print. Also suuuucks for cable management.

Oh i hear you lol how much did the dell set you back? Mine was $449 plus tax. I originally bought the 24" version thats compatible with the nvidia g-sync. It actually seemed to be built alittle better and was only 300$ I returned it for the larger 27" and almost wished i didnt lol

Seems very well protected for weight then. My only concern is where my room with my PC is small I'm always tripping over things, and I usually end up using my desk to break my fall, and a glass table may not catch me

I don't envy you for having that cleaning job then, one thing I never really do is dust, apart from the occasional cleaning of the PC filters. Luckily my desk doesn't show dust at all so that makes up for it looking naff.

Ah I never thought about the cable management, my desk is made up of kitchen units and worktop and it's quite thick so you can't see very much cable wise, so I don't really have to worry about it. Having a glass table would be another matter...

Well got bored today and decided to mod a side panel on my n200. Turned out ok but dont think ill cut up a case again :P

You really aren't missing much at all. Trying it at your friends was the same feeling when I tried it on my screen for the first time. The fad quickly faded away. Your monitor is far better to have.
